Dr. Kimberly Casey joined Madera Pet Hospital in 2004. Dr. Casey grew up in Marin and then headed east to attend Brown University for college. After a brief hiatus spent teaching high school science, she then came back to the sunny west coast to attend veterinary school at UC Davis. After graduating from Davis in 1998, she then completed an internship at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Dr. Casey practiced in Oakland and then Los Altos before coming to Madera Pet Hospital. She loves all aspects of general veterinary practice and specifically enjoys soft tissue surgery and radiology. The opportunity to work closely with people as they make decisions about the health and well being of their pets is especially rewarding for her, as is the chance to get to know and care for so many wonderful animals.
Dr. Casey lives in California with her husband Ben and her twin toddler boys Max and Sam. She has two cats, Lola and White Boy and a beloved 14-year old dog, Finnegan. In her free time she enjoys hiking, running, skiing, playing with her boys, and attempting to garden.
