Dr. Burwell completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship prior to practicing veterinary medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She then completed residency training with Eye Care for Animals in Southern California and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2003. Dr. Burwell practices at the Santa Rosa and Corte Madera offices in Northern California.
