Elizabeth J. MacDonald, DVM
Davidson College in North Carolina, Biology

Dr. MacDonald is a native northern Californian; she grew up in Piedmont. Her undergraduate years were spent at Davidson College in North Carolina, where her major was biology. She was accepted to UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2000. She has recently returned to Caliornia after spending an intense year in New York City. There, she completed an internship in small animal internal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center, the city's largest emergency and referral veterinary hospital. In addition to Dr. MacDonald's rigorous clinical training, she possesses compassion and a genuine love for animals. Her focus is general practice with a particular interest in preventative medicine.

Dr. MacDonald's free time is spent with her daughter Ainsley, her husband Jay and cavorting with her dog, Dr. Watson. She is an avid outdoors fan and loves skiing, hiking and river rafting.
