Dr. Melinda Lommer is a board-certified veterinary dentist. Beside basic dental cleanings, that include x-rays, Dr. Lommer provides specialized services, such as root canals, crown, periodontal surgery, orthodontics, and major oral surgery for jaw fractures and tumors.
Dr. Lommer is a 1995 graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at U.C. Davis. She completed an internship at the Sacramento Animal Medical Group prior to returning to U.C. Davis for a three-year residency in dentistry and oral surgery. Dr. Lommer became a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College in 2000.
She resides with her husband, Edward, who is an optometrist, and their newly adopted daughter Maggie, and three cats, Sphinx, Aslan, and Kiefer.
